I have to say,

I really appreciate a woman, or any person for that matter, with tattoos that actually mean something. Tattoos with some significant meaning or an actually emotional connection to the person pertaining to it. Like, what’s with these lame start that the person just thinks looks ‘cool?’ I just, really like someone who has the audacity to get something truly meaningful.

And, a woman with interesting piercings. Not gross ones, but ones that I’m happy to see.

A woman who is truly into hardcore or indie or good electronica. Not cruddy mainstream stuff that everyone else listens to. Have your own mind.

A woman who doesn’t have to cause drama with every other girl for no real reason.
“Lyke, OMG. Becky totally likes Jake. I dated him for lyke 3 dayz in the seventh grade. What a bitch!”
I mean, come on. Grow up. And don’t swear because you think it’s cool. It’s not. It really just makes you sound ignorant.

A woman who has some real, natural beauty and trusts me when I tell her she holds this very rare feature. You know, one who doesn’t have to wear make-up around me always, or only really does when she wants to put a little extra spunk in her step or whatever you want to call it.

A woman who is confident. Who doesn’t think they are fat when they are tiny. Or compare themselves to other girls who usually aren’t as attractive as they are. This is a big one, actually. Because I can’t stand it when girls don’t trust me when I try to convince them otherwise as well. Or when they fish for compliments. That’s almost worse than being stuck up! 

A woman who doesn’t have to buy $100+ dollar jeans. 
(They’re really not that cute anyways, save yourself like $75 dollars and buy bullheads or something actually really cute and fitting.)
Better yet, go with the D.I.! (Obviously pertaining to Utah girls.) I, and many other guys, find it really attractive when women are smart shoppers. 
When a girl can throw together an incredibly beautiful style with less then most spend on one pair of pants, I honestly find it sooooo cute. Just the idea of it makes me so happy.

A woman who will wear their hair more natural. Or wavy, or curly. Mix it up, it goes a long way. Obviously it’s harder for guys, but we really appreciate it when a girl does.

A woman who can be honest. Period.

A woman who can trust me. Period.

A woman who can be talkative, without constantly complaining. We, men, like having intelligent conversations. And we really do like listening to your thoughts and opinions. We’re not all just misogynistic pricks. We do like to think that you have goals and true knowledge of the world we live in and whatnot.

A woman who doesn’t need drugs or alcohol or other worldly things to survive. Seriously. It’s not the end of the world because one minor inconvenience struck your life. Don’t say your hate a member of your family because something didn’t go your way, please. It’ll really be okay. I promise. And, drugs and alcohol and tobacco are just straight up disgusting. Why do you even want to believe that has any positivity to it?

A woman who can be mature. Obviously, all of the above fits into this.

A woman who can play an instrument of some sort fairly well. Especially piano. Ooo, and when they can sing! Ah, nothing goes to a guys heart quicker than a woman who can play piano or guitar and can really sing. 

A woman who can chill out at shows, or can respect that I’m at one to release stress and anger. I want to dance. I know I look like an ape. Frankly, it’s fun and I don’t care. I’ll still be attentive to you, I won’t smell good, but I won’t just leave you alone. You know?

A woman who doesn’t need to talk about other boys around I. Now, celebrities or actors is one thing. But this boy that works at blah blah blah, or that went to your school blah blah, I don’t care about. It doesn’t make me jealous, it just makes me annoyed.

Oh, speaking of, A woman who doesn’t need to try to make me jealous. It doesn’t work. Frankly, it just gets really overbearing and annoying. I honestly, don’t want to be attentive to you whatsoever when you act like this. Sorry.

A woman who will let me be a gentleman. I want to pay for you, don’t contest it. I know you want to save that money, so just let me do it. Don’t try and beat me to the payment or anything like that, because then I just feel terrible about it. I really want to be a true gentleman, and I really dig it when you let me be. I can’t be spontaneous or romantic otherwise.

A woman, who is a true woman. If you’ve noticed, I’ve said woman this entire time. I do not want a girl, I want a woman. Someone intelligent enough to make their own decisions and can be mature as well as independent. Realize you don’t need me, but we can truly make each other really happy and we want it to stay this way for a very long time. As long as possible. A woman who can joke around but still maintain poise, especially once you get around the guys. Be their friend as well as mine. Don’t just exclude yourself. Go the extra mile, I will for your friends and family. 
And be happy, don’t waste your time being pissy, when a measley problem could be solved and everything could be great.
Some girls, just need to make that transition into a mature womanhood.

This whole thing probably made me sound like a total misogynistic prick, but honestly; It’s my blog, it’s my true thoughts. I’m not going to just sugar coat this, or anything for that matter. After a long night talking to Ammon, and seeing miscellaneous other posts it made me really want to say this. Frankly, you may not have liked that I said this, but I don’t care. It’s just honest. Ask just about any other guy. I’m sure he would agree with a great deal of this. This is could even apply to most guys for girls. As in; replace woman with man in all of this. Well, most of it. Not the make-up stuff. Actually… Depends on the man. But you know what I mean.

I’m just looking for a significant other who is actually, different from the normality that has seemed to be placed upon everyone here. Don’t just fall for every fad out there. It’s really not that ‘cool’ or ‘rad’. Live your life how you truly wish, and be your own person and your own mind. Dress different, listen to different music, and don’t be so low on yourself; i.e.- have some confidence. Really. Believe in yourself. Be a grown woman. 

I guess I’m just trying to say, I would really appreciate a woman who can be her own self.
